What does Tower control actually involve?
Tower controllers separate aircraft visually from the tower cab — working ground control (taxiing aircraft) and local control (takeoffs, landings, and traffic in the immediate airspace around the airport).
How is Tower different from the Basics course?
Basics teaches rules and procedures in a classroom setting. Tower applies them live — by eye, in real time — on top of that same foundation.
How hard is the tower checkride?
